My Arrogant Old Motorcycle

I used to have a motorcycle which I rode to campus for more than twenty years.  I did not mind its very old and poor condition, since it could always put me in place and on time to carry out my duty.  What does it mean to have a luxurious car, if you fail to show up in class on time, and students are waiting?
Hadn’t it been for its ‘arrogance’, I wouldn’t have sold the motorcycle, and you could’ve seen it. Whenever on the way, it passed the vehicle of important people, such as the Dean’s, the Rector’s, and others, and these people blew their horn as a gesture of acknowledgement and care, my motorcycle would not respond and would continue its way, as though nothing had happened.
